(30/04/08) Dinner Menu Confirmed

The 2 dinner options for Wednesday evening are Chicken in Backon and Leek Cream, or Sweet & Sour Chicken. It’s a fork buffet so their should be room for seconds! If there are any veggies coming to the meal please o please let us know by an email so we can arrange for you. Also don’t forget to bring your thinking caps for the quiz!

This Wednesday 30th April is the LAST chance to pay to enter the tournament, so get your applications in! We need to know numbers in order to book food for the meal.

(29/03/08) Tournament Announcement

We are delighted to announce the Northern Ireland tennis intervarsity will be held on the 7^th May 2008 at the Belfast Boat Club. The tournament will be a singles tournament with each round consisting of one tiebreak set. The losers of the first couple of rounds will be drawn in a ‘plate competition’, so there will be an opportunity for all standards to play. Afterward there will be a meal at the boat club followed by a quiz competition. There will be prizes for the men and ladies winners, as well as the quiz and raffle winners. All students at Further & Higher education institutions have been invited to play at this tournament hosted by Queen’s University Belfast Lawn Tennis Club. The closing date for the application and payment is Tuesday 29^th April. Applications will be sent out via email, and QUB students can just pay during usual tennis hours.
